Produce images for an interactive database using PhotoShop, Illustrator and Infini-D. Process satellite data to form composite images for use in the interactive database. I am also responsible for maintaining the Macintoshes and network. Also advise in purchases of equipment and software.
Technical Artist fromJune 1992 and October 1995 to present
Commissioned to render a proposed structure designed to enclose the excavation site of Chinese Emperor Xing Shi-Huang in Xian, China. Produced renderings of a two seat commuter vehicle for use in Indonesia and a one- and two-passenger light jet aircraft. Extensive use of Macintosh computers and a variety of programs to design, render and present 3-D color representations of these projects.
Computer Consultant from July 1992 to December 1992
Serviced the Commission's Macintoshes and consulted the organization on computer related purchases, i.e. printers, software, additional computers. Directed and resolved computer related problems for projects under the Commission. Trained new users who were unfamiliar with the Macintosh Operating System and programs.
Designer and Design Consultant from August 1990 to June 1992
Commissioned to handle various art-related projects. Chiefly responsible for recruitment advertisements in campus newspapers using PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, Pagemaker and Quark.
